A campy sci-fi, mystery novel inspired by ol' school horror stories such as "Martin Mystery," "Cabin In The Woods" - and maybe a bit of Stephen King. 
 

Set in the Year 2050 in the Philippines, ten years after a deadly storm had almost wiped out the entire nation, as it follows a fourteen-year-old Milo Sidaris - a shy introverted boy of Filipino and Greek descent - who struggles to fit into this new country. 
    
One night, he saw a strange red glow from afar and learned from his classmates that it was coming from the abandoned Red Dome island a.k.a. The Capital. Many people would be reported missing across the country. 
    
As an aspiring detective, he seeks to learn about why it has been closed off from the public by the government. Together with his newfound friends - Kaira, Leo, Jin and Irene - they head out to The Capital until they've just unearthed one of the country's darkest conspiracies.
