My star

We lay on the warm blanket, under the light of the full moon, looking at it reminded me of my mother.
I miss her. "Do you know why my name is Amaris?" I decided to speak, breaking the quietness. "No," he said, turning to face me.
"My mother named me after the moon, she thought the moon was the most beautiful thing to exist, she also loved the thought that everyone in the world looked up at the moon, that's how she wanted me to be, But I don't want that I just want a star to shine with me, not to feel completely alone" he listens looking at me, wiping away a tear that hit my cheek.
He's my star I thought but deep down I knew he was never mine.
