Will is a slut. At least, according to everyone else she is. With a past that both defines her and won't let her go, Will has had enough of the name-calling and assumptions. She's decided to use it all as fuel to get what she wants: to take down Reid Reynolds. But her world changes when she meets Ryder Becker. Ryder Becker is one of the most popular boys in all of Willington High. I mean, all the boys want to be him and all the girls worship him. He could care less about grades because he knows that football is what's going to get him into a good college. But his carelessness in grades changes when he meets Autumn. Not only does Autumn get partnered up with Ryder for the biggest class project of the whole year, she also lives on the same street as him. In the beginning she thinks it's a total curse, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise... They both may pretend on the outside that they are fine, but truth be told, they are both broken. The way his smile doesn't match his sad eyes draws her towards him, and the scars and bruises on her skin draw him towards her. A cure for your sadness could be another person, right? Well put her broken pieces together with his, and you have cracked the code. An ordinary 14-year-old girl, Violet, plays truth or dare with her friends and is dared to go through the forest behind her backyard. She gets lost and finds a sort of gate that leads to a world full of monsters and creatures and falls through, fainting at when knights and warriors come. She wakes back up in a castle dungeon and is soon let out when she tells the king who she is and is deemed trustworthy. As she overhears a conversation that a war has been declared and that the evil king has declared war for power and land, Violet says that she'll go over and try to defeat the evil king, just so she can earn peoples' trust. Carter Richmond is the heir to Richmond Corp one of the biggest companies in the country. Now, why would two very different people from very different backgrounds even breathe the same air? Well, you see, George Montgomery, Ava's father had recently passed and with his passing, he has left a two point five million dollar debt to the only daughter willing enough to pay it. Carter had just recently earned himself an ultimatum. A chance meeting with Carter an old childhood friend of hers will help them get what they want. Carter offers to remove Ava's entire debt and make her life easier if she agrees to marry him but on one condition. She must not fall in love with him. It seems reasonable since Carter is not the kind of guy Ava would be interested in but opposites do attract.
