"Why should I ask for forgiveness when it's the other way around?! " Aruna Vivina was a noble lady with honorable status. She was known for her beautiful light blue hair and knowledge about trades. A well-loved lady to also be engaged to the crown prince next in line to be emperor. Aruna believed she could bring a better future to her future people as empress, ready to be by his side and aid whenever needed. That is until out of the blue. The prince broke their engagement to marry her childhood friend. Even worse, about to be executed for a crime she didn't commit. Her life crumbled the moment the engagement was announced; rumors spread of her being a villainess. She never thought this day would come when her life will be taken by something she didn't do. Instead, she was betrayed by everyone she loves, leaving her to defend herself. Now, Aruna has to face the struggles of trusting people once again, refusing to get close to anyone, scared someone else will betray her. But will she really open her heart to anyone again? Will she understand the meaning of trusting again? And why is this person trying so hard to open her heart?

Up until a sudden tragic death, Vivian lived a less-than-ideal life in our modern world. After her demise, she's transported inside the last book she read. The worst part about all of it is that not only is she just a side character, but she's also the daughter of the book's villain. Why is this a bad thing? Because the villain kills his very own daughter on her eighteenth birthday. Born into having prior knowledge of everything except for her previous life's name, she's stuck in an infant's body with an adult's mind. Vivian must figure out how to change her fate as the hourglass counts down to her death. Follow Vivan as she learns what it means to feel loss, betrayal, familial devotion, and maybe even have a chance at love. This novella is part of an intended duology. Book two will be posted as a whole once completed. Book one has romance elements, but book two is where the romance will primarily take place. Book one is intended to set up the worldbuilding and plot for book two. Trigger warnings: Mention of prostitution, death, torture, graphic violence, sexual assault
