Here's a descreption of what escape the night is! (going off of season two's intro, easier to explain):
joey gets posessed, being forced to write a letter to ytber friends, they have to dress and act like a  character set in a certian time era (EX: 1920's; mobster) but, one by one they get killed off by a series of events to get ancient artifacts, only three survive when dawn breaks.

First a note from me: So I am on an app known as Amino a lot and one of the Aminos I'm in is Escape the Night Amino. This fanfic is something I've been doing there that I'm going to put here but adjust for details and stuff that I've left out in the Amino one. AND I'll change up the intro too but I'll explain how. Also no one will... really stay dead. I have my reason for that. Description: 4 gruesome missions, several lives lost, and a savant with an evil streak. Joey was drawn to Pandora's box and ends up trapped in it. When the box is opened again by a mysterious individual it released a corrupted evil Joey dubbing the same name as a character Joey played, Raef, who joins with the soul capturing and corrupting many of Joey's dead friends. A note is sent to Daniel, five of the survivors, a returned soul, and a few strangers inviting them to a party in another time period but the survivors plus one stranger get an extra note in blood threatening vengeance. Drawn to the time period they need to fight for survival once more and purify Joey. Under Raef's cruel tactics though they have to face some of the dead and purify them too. But this will not be an ordinary mission when there's evil beings that will possess those that die in result. With Tyler Oakley forced to play Savant can he and the others get out of this and perhaps bring the dead back to life too?

This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. How does the world work? Well, some people are strong, powerful, smart, or manipulative. Some are even all 4! People who can be on top stay on top and they use their gifts to get them there. Now, if enough people band together, they can overthrow those who have the monopoly on power. This happened in the final disc war. But what if it hadn't? Dream had the teens cornered but in this world, no reinforcements arrived. So dream won. And that is simply how the world works. Ok. It's dsmp.
