Less plain and vanilla. He hates her guts. It's mutual for her as well. But the headmaster has made it Gideon's personal mission to get her back on track and into a better life. She's allowed two screw ups, has to join a sports team, pass all of her classes with at least a C and get some friends before the year is over, or she will be held back. And she's not about to go another year in the hellhole called high school. She lived with her mother until she died when Katie was 6. She was then given over to her father, Tony, who is an alcoholic. Almost every night Tony forces Katie to go on the street and mug innocent people. Eventually she moves on from mugging to looting stores and museums. While doing that she meets a young hero. Dressed in red that goes by the name of Robin. Katie also manages to get into Gotham academy. One of the best schools in the country. There she meets a cocky little brat by the name of Dick Grayson. This story is set during season 1 of Young Justice.

Lots of people don't like Jay Tim, and I wrote Real before I knew that Tim canonically has a boyfriend. I also wanted to improve my writing style. So Real, without JayTim. Enjoy!
