A few miles off the coast of Greece sits an island with its own little town. Not many tourists know of the island as it's people like to keep it, and it's secrets, to themselves. However this may be, some foreigners still tend to find their way.
Thalia's family has lived on the East Coast in New York all of her life, then suddenly her dad receives an offer to move all the way across the world to a little island called Haven Isle.

I won't survive. I'm sure of it. Strong wind ruffles through my clothes and hardly allows my eyes to remain open. A swim gone wrong causes my twin sister to begin to fear the water. She barely even touches it. I went missing when it happened, everyone thinks I drowned, and died. I did drown, or rather I started to, but then a bright light shown down on me during a full moon and turned me into a mermaid, one drop and 10 secs later a tail. I love it! I said. Just then, something bumped the side of boat, causing it to rock. We looked around. "What the hell was that?" Alex asked. Then another bump happened. This time the boat rocked hard. "Okay now I think we should go to Mako Island." Alex said. Then another bump happened and it sent us flying into the water. We all screamed. I opened my eyes and looked around in the water. I immediately saw a huge shark. I screamed. I surfaced and looked around at the girls. "Guys there's a shark!!" I cried. "I knew it!!" Eliza said. "Look there it is!!" Alex cried. I turned around to see the shark's fin. It turned and swam towards us. We all let out a blood curdling scream.Complete
