In the Nation of Sultivia, there are 4 kingdoms; the kingdom of Fire, The Kingdom of Water, The Kingdom of Earth and most importantly the Kingdom of Air. Each kingdom controls one of the four elements in the land. In Sultivia the Sky/Air kingdom is the most powerful. It is also where Sultivia's royal family is.
Although even though the Sky Kingdom has the most powerful Emperor. The other kingdoms also have Emperors, just less powerful. These Emperors can only rule their Kingdom. And the Sky Emperor rules over the whole nation.

Rina Wei Zue is from a poorer family. Even so, when she was a child she was told to be the young Emperor's play mate. But one day he suddenly told her to leave. Heartbroken and never knowing the reason she returned to her hometown. Five years later, the two unexpectedly reunite, when she returns to the capital to pay her respects to the late Emperor.
