Evelyn Patterson is a girl from the freezing cold of Marquette, Michigan. She moves to Tulsa, Oklahoma and is new to the whole 'Greaser vs. Soc' thing. In comes Sodapop Curtis, the high school drop out who isn't like everybody else. Loyalty is tested, as is strength and endurance. But will Evelyn and Sodapop make it through untouched? Or will they crumble under the pressure?
