Quail Feather belongs to the Tribe of the Rising Sun, a group of cats living along the shore of the Starpool, a lake so vast its dark blue waters seem to stretch beyond the edge of the world. Young and clumsy but wise for her age, Quail Feather, like all novices in the Tribe, finds herself struggling to discover who she is and what her purpose is. When a young and cunning warrior convinces many of his kin to leave the Tribe and settle on the other side of the lake, The Tribe of the Rising Sun is unwilling to accept the separation. Quail Feather, like many of her Tribemates, is forced to make a decision: should she join the new Tribe across the lake, or stay with her kin? As her sister and mother contemplate leaving and her father adamantly refuses to leave his kin behind, Quail Feather begins to fear that whatever choice she makes will be the wrong one.

But when a massive group of rogue cats begins to threaten both sides of the lake, all of the Tribe cats will have to come together to fend off this new threat. As her and her Tribemates fight for territory, food and survival, Quail Feather must discover who she is as a cat and what her purpose is as a member of her Tribe. Is she a healer? Is she a warrior? Is she a hunter? Or is she a leader?

Warrior Cats: The Bare Leaves by sofa_goat
9 parts Complete
Even though the story itself isn't completed, I've lost the interest to keep writing 'The Bare Leaves'. I may in the future, but as of right now, it is completed. <33 With tension from the approaching leafbare, a blood-thirsty badger, and from their rivals of WindClan, RiverClan apprentice Breezepaw and her friends try their best to help their suffering clan, trying to do more healing than harm, but what can a few apprentices do in a cold and changing world? "The breeze carried with it the sorrowful past, the changing present, and the ominous future into the sleeping camp, bringing a warning to the clan cats. Although StarClan is powerful, they cannot control everything, or no cat would truly be free. They can only bring warning to the living, but they cannot change the past, nor can they make every wish come true. With the death of the beetle, and the sway of the breeze, the flight of the finch across the vast and curvy river, and the anonymous newt, StarClan sends a warning to the cats of a future leafbare they will never forget." ! Please keep in mind that this story takes place on the forest territories, NOT the lake! This is a fan-fiction based off of the 'Warrior Cats' series by Erin Hunter. I just realized that someone in the canon series was already named Breezepaw- Sorry for anyone who took offense on Breezepaw/Breezepelt behalf, please keep in mind that I am only on the fourth book of The New Prophecy! Hope you enjoy! xox

32 parts Complete Mature

Life leads us down paths we can't anticipate, and for young Redwhisker, it seems to never stop giving him twists and turns. He's always been maltreated, cast out, thrown aside, and willfully ignored by his own Clanmates - and he's known why for ages. After all, who could expect any different reaction to a fox living in a Clan of cats? Redwhisker finds it hard to believe he deserves any respect or equality with his Clanmates. He is sure that he will remain an outsider until he dies, and even then there's no guarantee of him making it to StarClan to reunite with the cat who mothered him. These beliefs, though, are shattered by a chance meeting with someone who may be an even stranger anomaly than him. He's thrust into conflict, between Clans and between himself, as he questions his innermost expectations and realizes he's been playing the game wrong this whole time. Warriors series and universe by Erin Hunter. Characters and storyline by me.
