An excerpt from my novel where Rayne argues with Dani. You could say their lies caught up to them. Rayne was the exiled prince of Lior, but escaped and met Dani. He told her nothing about his past, and four years passed in growing friendship. But when Dani was shot in the event of Rayne's father trying to reclaim his lost son, Rayne disappears. Dashiell is able to save her and bring her to Eirwen for treatment, but it's too late. The dragon blood had already mixed in with hers and a transfusion had taken place. Dani was no longer human. Three years pass in a place that is alien to Dani, when suddenly Rayne reappears. Now he must learn the truth about those three years he was absent in her life, but can telling the truth really make the situation better? I'll let you decide that.

In the Kingdom of Dyrenoth there lives a little Princess whom is not the person she was told and for that she has been punished her entire life for just existing but at the time she never understood why her father did such things to her yet not her siblings. If it wasn't for her mothers inability to keep just one man under her sheets then maybe she might have grown into the kind Queen she's alway dreamt herself of become. Maybe her life would have been different. The little Princess isn't so small anymore, no those times have past and tragic ones are being lived. After many years of suffering under her fathers hand it seemed as he'd had enough one day and that's the day her dream of being a kind Queen was torn from her grasp as the King, her father banished her from Dyrenoth and forbade Kairo from stepping onto its soil after that day when she was 12 years old. Many years later after she was thought to be dead it was time for Prince Kierian to take over the crown and become Kings himself, yet she still remains in Dyrenoth along with other Kingdoms across the maps yet once the news of the massacre ball in honor of Prince Kierians future years as the King of Dyrenoth is heard by the Captain and Kairo is it just the opportunity for the plan that they've been waiting for to come to light after many years. What kind of being has Kairo become and what's the plan for the ball? How will her sibling react? It's been 8 years since and it's finally time for the Kingdom of Dyrenoth to know the truth of their bastard King, her father.

Burn Again

15 parts Complete Mature

Thranduil has been having the same dream for three hundred years - dark blue eyes. A chance attack on one of the villages in his realm puts him in front of the face behind those eyes, and he panics. Untold to anyone, he has fallen in love with those eyes over the centuries, but feels he can't act on his feelings because of his deceased wife. Instead, he treats the elleth in question with contempt and is rude and mean to her. She too has a secret. The prophecy passed on by her dying mother states that she will have a strong magic awakened only when she has truly bonded with her soul mate. What happens when she discovers that the soulmate in question is none other than the arrogant, cold-hearted elf King? Will she be able to thaw his chilled heart enough for him to let her in? Or will he keep his mask of indifference firmly in place and remove her once and for all? Elu - Sindarin for blue - battles for her place in the world and in Thranduil's as he does everything he can to push her away. Will he give in and realise that he needs his little Bluebird? Will he give in and let love Burn Again?
