Skylar 'The Fire' Miller is one of the most famous hockey players in the state. she was known at first because of her parents, but 4 years ago, they died in a tragic car crash. everyone around Wisconsin, which is where Skylar and her parents are from, was devastated, and Skylar didn't talk for weeks.

4 and a half years later, Sky is 14 and has taken after her parents with the ice hockey career. everything's normal, until she gets called in to transfer to the team, 'The Ducks'. they become team USA, and are known well, being competing in the Junior Goodwill Games.

and she finds herself falling for the captain of the team.
