What if by a twist of fate Naruto was not the 'Uzumaki' he was supposed to be?
Born to a loving mother who is just as much of a rule-breaker as he is, into a clan of egoistical megalomaniacs with Red-Black marbles for eyes, he will have to fight his way through the shackles of a destiny which was never meant to be his. The fact that his mother was once the clan head's love-interest and betrothed just complicates things.
