Lauren 'Ren' Peace was a ghost, a girl who died and returned.

From a town of fighters, split into two rival family factions, Ren spirited her way into Roselake like a specter, back to the home she'd hoped would have grown out of its violent nature, to the place she had sworn she wouldn't see again until the time was right, until all things had fallen into place...

It had not. In fact, it had likely become worse than ever before. Family against family, rival against rival, shootouts in the streets and gang culture in the schools. The philosophy of Peace vs. Wendigo may as well have been written in stone, two families with a history akin to a Saga. The town was in shambles, worsened even more upon Ren's shocking return and the death of the Peace Patriarch, while the mystery of her disappearance and sudden return haunted them all.

Among their questions and anger and hurt, behind the shambles of everything Ren knew she had to fix, was a girl named Samantha Parrish. A girl Ren had forgotten she had ever known, the heir to the Wendigo family, and who was supposed to be Ren's sworn enemy.

Except, with a smile like that, it was a little hard to see her that way.

Loosely inspired by the story of Romeo and Juliet, this story follows the ghost of Lauren Peace in her duty to save her town, her love, and everything she had ever cared about, while losing almost everything in the process.
