Irisvile is a small peaceful town when seen from afar. One can even think of life after retirement here. This town looking pleasant from the outside however has a sinister shadow lurking in the dark. It was hiding deep dark secrets, secrets which could destroy the lives of many people. In its safe and calm environment sedately strides a monster, two devious eyes glowing in the dark, changing color, constantly watching your every move, and waiting for an opportunity to hunt. This is a haunting story of killings in Irisvile County that changed many lives forever.
Set in late 1960s, a decade where the term 'serial killer' itself was not anywhere on anybody's register. It was an unknown concept where a person could keep on killing. It was an alien territory where the police didn't know what was going on. The whole law enforcement system was chaotic and inconsistent which was easy to take advantage of! Various police departments were not sharing information beyond jurisdictional line making investigation leads go all over the place.
Furthermore, the data was massive and scattered. With the forensic science being in primitive stage, the law enforcement agencies didn't have resources to manage the data quickly. The sixties, where the surveillance technology was not much developed and anybody who had any information would call in to tip, everybody had something to tell bringing hundreds of leads, masses of information. Soon the sinister penumbra was spotted behind every tree, every bush.
In such conditions Sheriff Jackson of Irisvile County along with his team embarks on an impossible mission to catch this mass murderer, not knowing what failures the vicious future will hold. As the secrets unravel and devious truths come into light, Sheriff struggles with his reputation and sanity. Will Sheriff Jackson be able to catch this prolific killer before it is too late...

Based on true incidences.

Cry for me

10 parts Complete

The first body was left drained of every single drop of blood. It could have been mistaken for a bloodless crime if it weren't for the crimson streaks on the girls' face. Her terrified expression was frozen as her pierced eyes glared into the nothingness. What looked like her real tears blended in with the crimson streaks on her pale cheeks. It looked random until we learned that it must be the M.O. of the killer seeing as his second victim, my sister held those same markings. It had been an odd sight; she had looked peaceful and unharmed except for the bloody tears that couldn't be washed off no matter how hard they tried. My father, the head sheriff of the Southwood's police station, swore that he would bring my sister the justice she deserved, but things escalated fast. A new body was found nearly every month; Girls would go missing and would later be found with unremovable blood streaks on their faces. The blood was always old, and it belonged to other victims he killed. The stained faces of his victims led most parents to hold closed casket funerals. Only after nearly a year since the murders began did the cops learn that most of the bodies of the bloody faced victims had disappeared. It was a secret that they had yet to reveal to the public in fear of the people of Detroit making a mockery out of them. Surely, they had enough experience in their fields to not be outsmarted by one guy!
