Maura and Jane had been best friends for nearly 10 years. After they both had decided to start a new job, Maura in Paris as a writer and Jane at the FBI, they had moved away and only talked on the phone. But soon they realised that they didn't want this. They wanted their old life back. And they decided to come back.
It had now been 6 months since they came back and Maura had finally met a guy who she started dating about a month after returning to Boston. It seemed like everything was perfect in their lives, but things would take a turn very, very soon.
