Meet Maya Lee, a top honor student in University of Miami known for brains, beauty and her skills to impress. She was all smiles and Miss A that everyone calls her, even the most popular kids wanted to make friends with her. She loved the attention she loved from her friends, her peers and her lecturers she gained from working her efforts off, and of course her boyfriend. But behind her impressions, she hated all the fame she got. She didn't like everyone to follow her like a puppy dog, nor all the sweet nothings she called compliments. Nobody knows what's her real life was, or her future, even her religion for being a true Christian. For a hardcore one she was, she kept her reputation into a private mess.
But then, Jackson came to her life. He was the opposite of her, being a school dropout and a misfit, he doesn't care of everyone thinks badly of him. Mind you, he's a disgrace that had a proper scolding from his parents nor blink an eye on everyone who looked down upon. He wasn't a religious person of course but he's willing to change if someone who wanted to support the best of him. Being childhood friends since little, they were inseparable. Ever since he left to New York with his family to have a new life, he thought of nothing but missing the one who made him happy.
Seeing them having a hard time coping in different positions, God gave them a chance to meet each other again after 14 years. They bumped into each other by coincidence by Jackson's friend, who was related to Maya's bff. They talked and talked like there's no tomorrow, Jackson was happy to have a friend who knew his struggles and secrets. He suddenly had this thought, but don't know how.
