Five years have passed, Luca, Alberto, and Giulia have grown, many things changed and some stayed the same. Things like the fact that Massimo had adopted Alberto shortly after Luca first left for school or Ercole becoming as mean as ever. It's the summer of 1974, Giulia and Luca return home from Genova back to Porto rosso. Everything seems as normal as ever until emotions go their way with not only our trio. And if puberty wasn't enough to handle, two newcomers arrive.

Only Time Will Tell (A Luberto Story)
After being in Genova for what felt like so long, Giulia and Luca were finally coming back to Portorosso for the summer. After what felt like ages, the underdogs will finally be reunited, and most importantly, Luca will finally be able to see his best friend Alberto again. Even with this in mind, Luca just feels weird. Is it his nerves? Is he just anxious? Whatever it is, Luca is feeling something he's never felt before. He just can't put his finger on it. Only time will tell.... (Disclaimer: This is set after the events of the movie "Luca". I am writing this story with the mindset that if you're reading this, then you've most likely already seen the movie. I will try my best to include some recaps here and there, but watching the movie prior to reading this would be a big help :D I do not own any of the characters in this book nor have I created them. They've shared memories over the years and when Luca and Guilia were here to finally stay at Portorosso. Of the courses of years where Alberto would write to Luca, he'd also become quite the artist. It was easy to see a mile away that Alberto was naturally gifted, born to be an artist. And when handed such a talent, Alberto took the chance to go to a good boarding school for artists and such. But it came at a cost. Leaving Luca and everyone he loved behind. Luca was a different story. He'd joined his school choir the first year he went to school with Guilia. His voice was like angels and he was able to get his name out there. He took himself more seriously and decided while Alberto was away he'd take the opportunity and become a singer.
