A little boy and girl are best friends not knowing what the future could hold just living in the now. But then the girl disappears and the boy is devastated. He grows up not only to be the strongest Alpha of the Red Water Pack, but also to learn that the little girl was his mate. Ever since he learned she was his mate he has never stopped looking for her. If only he could just remember her last name. Even at 23, he travels the world when he has the time. He starts to lose hope but then his friend invites him to a pool party with humans and he is hesitant to go. Even though his wolf won't stop bugging him until he does. She grows up to be a beautiful young woman trying to figure out her place in the world not being a werewolf like her brothers. She still misses the little boy she befriended when she was little but has since gotten over it. Over the time that has passed since they saw each other, she has grown stronger has already gone through some stuff. What happens when they meet for 12 years? Will they become best friends again or something more? What happens when someone else wants her to?
