Regulus hasn't had a real meal in weeks but he is fine.
Okay, maybe fine is not the right word. His brain hurts, he's tired and his stomach hurts a lot and he's dizzy and a little confused but nothing of this really matters because he's sure he's dying. It's only a matter of time.
And since his existence will cease soon enough, Regulus is not about to waste a second longer doing anything he doesn't want to. Or, not doing something he desperately wants to...

In which a very picky eater Regulus Black gets fucked even further by the universe when he develops a gluten and lactose intolerance and after a whole summer torturing his intestines with inappropriate food and/or starving, his body starts to show signs it isn't doing super great and Regulus' pureblood ass is sure he's dying.
So, he decides to kiss James Potter for shits and giggles, since he has been angrily in love with the gryffindor for years now.
Which would have been fine...
Except now James can't stop thinking about it.

Now, Sirius has made new friends and left his family in the past. Regulus knew things were different the moment Sirius didn't come home for the holidays in his first year. Now, Regulus is at Hogwarts, although his and his Gryffindor brother's relationship is completely different. Eventually, Regulus starts getting dragged along to the Marauderers hangouts and develops feelings for his brother's best friend. 1/3 So it starts when Regulus is in fifth year (15-year-old) and James is in sixth year (16-year-old). The dates might not be accurate but just go with it. After a horrible relationship, Regulus was found crying in the hall and James found him. James comforted him and then they went back to James' room. And that's how it starts. Some pregnancy scares and pregnancy at the end of the story. (just to have some drama for the next generation).
