Reese Lincoln is - once again - the new kid at school. This wouldn't be the first time he's been forced to pick up and move, what with his fighting streak. He's been through his fair share of suspensions, and most recently, expulsions, so he's seen as the problem child, the rotten egg, the bad seed.

One fistfight, two snooty teachers, and one agitating jock later, Reese is forced into a pilot program at his new school, led by Dr. Walsh, the school guidance counselor...
Great.
Life is looking down, as usual, for Reese and he's willing to bet his ass that he's reached his limit. What the hell is the point of going to a guidance counselor? They get paid to sit and act like they're listening and then give you shitty advice afterward. Reese is fed up by day one and he refuses to be belittled by some off-brand shrink.

During their first meeting, he's ready to put an end to this ridiculous bullshit, but then he inadvertently stumbles upon a shy, brown eyed beauty by the name of, Gracelyn Price, affectionately known by all those who care for her - and that is quite a great number - as:

Grace.
