Princess Alice Hall anticipated being nervous about the ball, and was even accepting possibly having to marry Prince Elliot Weidbridge in order to provide an opportunity for peace between their nations.

However, what she wasn't expecting was for the prince to be completely uninterested in her (not that she was complaining), and to be offered a dance by Princess Lucretia Weidbridge (again, she wasn't complaining).

As the night progresses and eventually ends, Alice realizes her and Lucretia's blooming relationship may not be possible in the political conflict happening between the two kingdoms.

They, however, are not giving up, and attempt to find a way to maintain their relationship whilst preventing their nations from falling into another war.

*completed* "Dude, you like her. You've never looked at anyone like that." My brother stated. There couldn't be any possible way she was part of the royal family, I hate the royal family. But this past month has been different, have I had a change of heart? No? Yes? Maybe? Damn why does she make me question how i feel, not just about her but about everything else I feel so strongly about. I looked at my hands then sighed and returned my vision back on my brother. "What if I do?"
