"Avalon," Luka calls, tilting my chin upwards, forcing our eyes to meet once more. "Are you okay?" his eyes flicker back and forth between mine, searching for any signs of worry. His thumb scates across my lowered lip and I blink suddenly aware of just how close we are. "I think I should get Dax," He says and makes a move to pull away but my hands reach for him keeping him close to me. I shook my head, my fingers brushing against the stubble peppering his jaw.
"Its just," My eyes flicker between his, a see of dark green with flecks of silver swimming in them. I couldn't really explain it but I had this feeling like I'd been here before, Like we had been here before. I couldn't understand it. "I feel like we've met before." I whisper and our heads seem to drift closer, our breaths mingling in the space between us.
"Avalon, what are you doing?" He whispers, his voice strained. I drew in a sharp breath. I knew that I should let him go. He was my brothers best friend and whatever this strange tension that had been building between the two of us was, I shouldn't entertain it, but for days he was all that I could think about. The feel of his rough hands caressing my body, the taste of his lips. He had been haunting my dreams for days and I couldn't spend another night without this... electricity. I didn't want to fight it anymore. I was tired of fighting. So I mustered every single shred of courage that I could and closed the space between us, pulling his lips to mine.
