falling and flying was written at my desk within minutes. my mind had wandered and i was day-dreaming about nothing in particular. however i was overcome by a sudden wave of sadness when pulled back into reality. this small poem is one i hope to mirror the emotional turmoil humans can feel when the reality of our lives hits us at unexpected moments. 
life is a beautiful thing, but sometimes the peace we have when we are alone with our thoughts seems so much more comfortable, and it can be hard to accept the events that are truly happeningTodos los derechos reservados
