!!This fanfic has MAJOR spoilers from Omori!! Kel is entering high school again with his friends. As little time goes on, the feelings he had for Sunny when they were younger had suddenly returned. How will he deal with these feeling? Things that should be kept in mind: This takes place in the point of view of Kel (So it is 1st person POV), this is a modernized alternative of the main story, and these events are taking place after Mari's death in the real world. Warning: there's a bunch of swears, jokes, timeline mistakes, and spelling/gramatical errors. This story is mainly just me having a good time since I usually prefer making one-shots, but I love and appreciate everyone who reads and enjoys this too!

That is, until their new roommate starts muttering things in his sleep. Constant nightmares plague their friend almost every night. And one evening, while Sunny is taking a nap, he whispers a name that none of his friends recognize. Who is.. "Omori"? ------ On Sunny's end of the stick, things aren't doing so well. Being back at Faraway has proven to be a mistake, as the familiar place kept triggering back memories. The stress is so much, that Sunny finds himself accidentally falling back into his old habits. His dreams. While he's there, he's greeted by good old Omori, who is just as upset as he is with him being back. HEADSPACE shouldn't exist anymore. And it won't. They'll make sure of that. Because if the dreamer fails to end his dream, then Omori will make sure he won't ever awake again. ((posted in AO3 first, now moving to Wattpad))
