14-year-old Vita Ludwig is sentenced to death for the countless murders she has done as an assassin conditioned to feel no remorse at a young age. However, Galahad Alarico, a 15-year-old Interrogator trainee decides to interfere with her fate. He sees the good in all people, even in the most heartless of vagabonds, and is determined to uncover Vita's lost conscience--but that is not the nature of his role in the greater scheme of things; or so everyone thinks. Amidst great odds, will Galahad's determination triumph, or will everything collapse in itself, and Vita sent to her doom without a single chance of redemption?
