A 24 year old Lin Beifong begrudgingly decides to accompany a 28 year old Kya on a trip to the Southern Water tribe. Tensions between the two rise as Lin slowly comes to terms with her sexuality and her feelings for Kya.
This fic does start out as Linzin, but throughout their trip Lin realizes that their relationship is not meant to be and the fic will focus on Kyalin.
