Callie's mom has cancer, there have been times where it goes and they are fine and happy, but then there are the times when it comes back, and it rips Callie in half. Her mom is her bestfriend, and with her father out of the picture, taking care of her mother is laid solely upon her shoulders while also juggling her senior year of high-school.
Enter Ryder Jones DeLuca. He's the king of Solar Heights High School. You're typical playboy, everyone knows who he is. His life is about as perfect as it can get. Two loving parents, great friendships, being the team star on his football team. Nothing could possibly get better than that.
So what happens when Ryder and Callie get partnered up in class. The two are meant to spend a lot of time together. Time that makes the see each other in ways no one else has seen them.
