Have you been so beaten down that suicide is the only way you feel that it will all end? I guess your not the only one out there who feels the same. There is this girl called Dakota and she is pretty shy. She is what you call the typical quite girl. Most people say that she is mute because of her lack of speaking but that isn't true. She does speak a lot but only in front her own family members. Dakota has her problems that keeps her from speaking up against the school bully, Kristina. She is so perfect but she ruins it by bulling Dakota. She beats all the emotions out of her whether it be physically or mentally or even both. These things continue to happen and Dakota starts to get desperate and does something that will change the course of her life. This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story.
