Yama Sato is a famous novel writer with the pen name of Yato. One day while he was at a book signing event, he met a peculiar teen who took a liking to his works, but the thing was the works he writes are usually made for older people, not teenagers. He was puzzled, but he didn't have time to ask her seeing as there was a long line of people who want their books signed, so he just ignored it.

After the book signing event, he was heading straight back home. With the peculiar teenager still on his mind. Why does she like it? He kept asking himself. Maybe she just has different tastes? He was curious. But on his way back to his apartment, he saw the girl once more. She was with a group of people, most likely her friends. He wanted to talk to her again, but it would be strange if a man in his late 20's came up to them, so he just left them alone.

As he was about to pass by them, he felt something tugging on the sleeve of his jacket. It was the girl.
