I very much like the fact to announce in public that I finished what must be the first part of my book.
It's a teenagers story about fifteen kids, every one of them impersonating the main characters of 21st century life. They don't drink, don't smoke, nobody's dying or falling in love in the book. It was a hard puzzle but I solved it and left not a wicket but a whole portal for the sequel which I'm ten thousand words into right now.
Mike and Ivan, though, are big boys who drink vodka in the snippet. They don't smoke and the scene in the bar is the only one consisting alcohol in the book. But the story! There are seven flunk-out kids whom Mike will teach in Geography to finish with his graduation from the university and he went to a bar with his older friend and ex-roommate Ivan to confide the fact and have fun.

Settling Slowly
2015 rolled in with a bang, and it did not have the grace to gift me with a social life that everyone in a one hundred year radius would be jealous of or that is even just the talk of the town. Instead I got myself into a complicated relationship which wasn't much talked about, a relationship that I didn't get into is talked about all the time and university is around the figurative corner. That is where you can factor in people I suppose I should call 'fans', the fascination that comes in with cutlery, pots, pans and other formerly boring things. But let us not forget that my parents are finally getting married and Mum can't shop for lace without me wanting to kill her, add in a dose of sleepless nights, invigorating kisses - which have nothing to do with the sleepless nights and a lot to do with nightmares - Harriet not knowing the meaning of the words "you're done" and Ice Ice Baby is still a thing. We're all growing up (except Dad who will still make inappropriate jokes at every inappropriate moment, some to do with what cannot be done when you're wearing a plaster cast) and holidays are being planned though some are less holiday and more a mad dash to find somewhere to live out in the big wide world without our parents. we both love the outsiders and johnnyboy so why not write oneshots about them?! the au we're going to mostly be using is that they're living in our time (still the same setting). here's some details about it: • ages: darry - 23, soda - 19, pony - 17, johnny - 16, dally - 20, steve - 20, two-bit - 21 and a half. (we upped everyone's ages by 3 except johnny, because we originally upped pony's by 3. so we made it fair) • dally lives alone with his two puppers :') their names are booper (a sheltie + corgi mix) and waffle (a dachshund)! (he's a college drop out, but has a paying job) • darry is a college graduate and has a job that he loves. soda, steve, and two bit are still in college and are living with their families. • pony and johnny are, of course, in high school. • everyone's families are the same.
