Anne Shirley Cuthbert x Gilbert Blythe Anne Shirley is new to the small town of Avonlea, yet it feels to everyone as though she's always been there. Always been in the back corner of every class room, head in hands, probably a hoodie over her face, along side her messy red hair. Always been walking the halls alone, having no one to skip class with. Always in the same neutral toned outfits, intimidating the younger girls in the bathroom as she puts out her cigarette on the sink. Gaining dirty looks from the respectable girls, the ones who's families have been here for centuries. Which Anne thought was amazing, yet the girls thought it was boring. Just as they thought about her, not that they thought about her. She was so extraordinarily unnoticeable she catches the eye of a certain beautiful, curly haired boy. She intrigued him, she was... sincere, everything thing she did was. Every kind act, every cute outfit, every '100%', every giggle, every nervous lip bite, every time she ditched class to have a cigarette- every cool- grunge thing she did was for her. She knew no one was staring at her- or so she thought- she did it all to go unnoticed and she didn't care. The two were polar opposites, yet one in the same. He was the centre of attention, all eyes on him. Except all eyes weren't on him, not hers, not the eyes he wanted to be staring at him. She was in the corner hiding behind her messy hair, staring out the window as everyone stares at him and him who is staring at her. Her who seems to be in a world of her own. Although she did notice him, he was the only one she did notice. However she just noticed him at the wrong time. Eventually their paths will cross and they'll make their story together. However this isn't a love story, oh no, it's far from. She was a 'sacrifice the world to save him' and he was a 'sacrifice her to save the world' Could it get anymore obvious? This isn't a love story... this is a horror story.

It has been said that "Well behaved women seldom make history." In the case of Charlotte Brunswick, this could not be more true of a statement. After running away from her abusive and neglectful household, she survives on her own the only way she can: By pretending to be a boy. No one ever questions a boy's capabilities. A boy can be employed anywhere, doing anything, no questions asked, and while Charlotte is every bit as strong and capable as a boy...no one will allow her a chance to prove that unless she poses as one. After being employed by the Blythe family, and telling them of her situation, she is welcomed into their home with open arms...though none of them know her true identity, except for Mr. Blythe, who is unfortunately on his death bed. However, everything seems to shift when Orphan girl Anne Shirley moves to Avonlea and begins to show the town and the world just how capable girls can be. She may even be enough to encourage Charlotte to embrace her femininity rather than hide it. Though with the revelation of her secret comes its own complications; namely the feelings of betayal that will inevitably be felt by her best friend Gilbert...along with the romantic feelings she's always harbored for him. The entire situation is unorthodox, and not something that a well-behaved young lady should be involved in. But as the saying goes..
