100 years into the future, biology has given way to a new humanoid race, the Supernaturals. However, survival for them isn't easy in a world where they are criminalized and oppressed. It's survival of the fittest, or rather, the smartest and most successful. And with a criminal underworld full of illegal Supernatural activity, things are bound to spiral out eventually. (This series has had a rocky start. I've rewritten it hundreds of times over and have finally found something to roll with. "The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. In a world where everything is normal, except for one spot. In this spot, the sun never shines, it's forever dark and cold. Monsters prowl the earth, fighting and killing over territory and food. However, all the rest of the world is normal, the sun rises and sets all the same. The season come and go, the temperature rises and falls naturally. In this world two people will face many problems.
