They're here.
Who's here?
"See for yourself. Stay low." I whispered.
The two dragons snuck up alongside me, but I sensed Moon and Qibli with her. I heard a soft gasp as Moon got her first look at the enemy.
"They look so small."
"And what are those things in the water?" Qibli asked.
"Ships. Supply ships." I gravely said. "They're probably establishing a beachhead to prepare for operations here."
"Operations?"
I turned over to face Qibli.
"To prepare for war, SandWing. These people are here for war."

A squad of 101st Airborne, bound for Japan after VE Day, are suddenly and mysteriously wrecked in Pyrrhia, a land of dragons and adventure. Do they have what it takes to survive and get home? What new and strange rules are to be found in this place? Are they able to face down a traitor in their midst? Or will they drag the war to the peaceful inhabitants of this new place, so that it truly engulfs all worlds?
Follow Lieutenant Marvin with his ragtag squad of men; and Moonwatcher, a Nightwing with mind-reading and precognition abilities, in the first installment of the Wings of Honor series!

This story takes place after the 3rd arc, and has spoilers for the 2nd arc (books 6-10). I wrote this before the end of the 3rd arc, and have therefore taken some artistic liberties.
I did not read any of the arc 3 books when I wrote this, I only gathered information from the WOF Wiki.

I do not claim ownership of the Wings of Fire book series by Tui T. Sutherland and Scholastic. This is a fan fiction series.

Part 1 of 6 of the Wings of Honor Series.

𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙬𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙖𝙧, 𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙨... Decades of wars and unrest have clawed at the sides of Pyrrhia's dragons for as long as they can remember, and the tales of true peace and dragonets of prophecy are simply whispers of the past. Shrike has never been regarded by his tribe as a real SkyWing. His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. Years of lost wars, unfulfilled treaties, and an excessively lavish lifestyle lived by their ruler, Queen Markhor, have left the SkyWing tribe impoverished and starving, and Shrike, the princess's personal bodyguard, has witnessed the consequences of the Queen's ignorance firsthand. A diplomacy meeting with the SeaWings gone wrong erupts in yet another bloody war, and Shrike is swept up in battle before finding himself caught in between the jaws of the political turmoil that seem to be tearing his tribe apart from the inside out. To make matters worse, a prescient warning delivered years before by the continentally renowned prophet, Hereafter, is unraveling before Shrike's eyes, and its exhortations seem like an echo chamber awfully reminiscent of his own life. That coupled with a newfound power in his claws leaves him spiraling and wondering one question: could 𝘩𝘦 be the terror of talons? ✦ Please read the introductory pages! They will be EXTREMELY informative for understanding the basics of Pyrrhia's situation and the timeline leading up to this story. Consider leaving a vote if you enjoy this story! Constructive criticism and other comments are always welcome.
Wings of Fire - The CloudBorn (Fanfiction) by EshTCP

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Recent events have cancelled this old, old story. However! The synopsis for the rest of the chapters I had planned are at the end of this book, along with the planned third book I had planned to write. Feel free to enjoy the unfinished, old story as you please. And please remember that the new upcoming revamp is a side project that will not have my full attention, so it will not be guaranteed completion. However, the storyline is the exact same as the original Iceborn. So you needn't worry about being left in the dark! (Book 2 of the Iceborn series) The Dark Revolt is defeated. Magisalla was saved from it's close fall, and in turn the Kingdoms of Pyrrhia and the CloudWing Kingdom were saved from being taken over by Permafrost's twisted and demented plans of world domination. Now, all that is left is to rebuild. The first event to bring hope to the CloudWings was the hatching of two royal eggs; the first two to have survived after Princess Supercell and Prince Comet. One of them hatched as a rare-born. One seen every once in a while in the kingdom. Nothing much else is special about Fog the Cloudborn CloudWing . But threats are still looming over the Cloud Kingdom. Criminals roam the kingdom after being set free by the Dark Revolt. One of which is an old enemy of the royal family who plans to return with revenge at the forefront of their mind. And when Fog catches wind of this enemy's plan to return, it's up to him to convince his family to prepare. That is, if he's even up to the task. What happens when the only dragon who can be the hero... isn't interested in the role at all? The Wings of Fire series belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. This is merely a fanfiction based in the world she created. (NOTE: This is Book 2 of this fanfiction series! I suggest you read Book 1 before reading this! https://www.wattpad.com/story/84033461-wing-of-fire-the-iceborn-fanfiction)
Wings of Fire: The Secret of Silverstripe by Echoes_of_Polaris

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and most of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though there will be several canon characters making appearances throughout the story. You've heard the story about how the NightWings manipulated the War of SandWing Succession, sending assassins and spies to watch over and control the situation for their own benefit. This is the story of one such spy, who was posted in the Kingdom of the Sea to observe the SeaWing army and Blister's forces as they sought victory in the world war. Silverstripe was raised by the Talons of Peace with one purpose in mind: to spy for the Talons in the War of SandWing Succession. Now that she's finally ready to begin her career, she's finding that spying on the SeaWings is even smoother than she anticipated. However, there are also complications that she'd never thought of... complications that could jeopardize her mission and even cost her her life. Will Silverstripe be able to observe the SeaWings from right under their snouts, or will her identity be revealed and her first mission cost her her life? Cover: photographed and designed by me. PS, for the artists out there: if you'd like to create fanart of Silverstripe's story and feel comfortable sharing your artwork, feel free to send it to me, and if you like I'll put it in the Fanart section of "The Secret of Silverstripe" Finally: Don't hesitate to leave any questions/comments/concerns. I'd love some input on my writing, and if you happen to spot some typos or grammer issues in there, please let me know so I can fix it. Happy reading! :)

Illustrated story! Moonwatcher realizes that her choices, which affect her entire future, have not been what she wants and longs for. Where does she belong? Will she always be an outsider? She has no visions of the dangers that await her as she sets out to find answers. Winter has lost hope for the dragon he loves and focuses on his other passion; to scavengers. However, a surprising event leads him to face his past and gives a new direction to his life. Family has always been his worst fear, but he could not have imagined even in his nightmares the situations he will have to face on his journey. This story takes place about 3 years after book number 15. Contains characters and references to events from the three Wings of Fire book series, including the Dragonslayer. So if you haven't read the books, this story might spoil their plot. English is not my language, so you are more than welcome to report corrections in the comments or by email (kuunnousu1 @ gmail.com -remove the spaces). The original story, dragon tribes of Pyrrhia and Pantala, and the story characters are the property of Tui T. Sutherland. Also includes my own characters. I wanted to make the story "real", as faithful as possible to the world created by Tui Sutherland and the original stories. I hope you enjoy the story!
