"See for yourself. Stay low." I whispered. 
The two dragons snuck up alongside me, but I sensed Moon and Qibli with her. I heard a soft gasp as Moon got her first look at the enemy.
"They look so small."
"And what are those things in the water?" Qibli asked.
"Ships. Supply ships." I gravely said. "They're probably establishing a beachhead to prepare for operations here."
"Operations?"
I turned over to face Qibli.
"To prepare for war, SandWing. These people are here for war."



A squad of 101st Airborne, bound for Japan after VE Day, are suddenly and mysteriously wrecked in Pyrrhia, a land of dragons and adventure. Do they have what it takes to survive and get home? What new and strange rules are to be found in this place?  Are they able to face down a traitor in their midst? Or will they drag the war to the peaceful inhabitants of this new place, so that it truly engulfs all worlds? 
Follow Lieutenant Marvin with his ragtag squad of men; and Moonwatcher, a Nightwing with mind-reading and precognition abilities, in the first installment of the Wings of Honor series!

This story takes place after the 3rd arc, and has spoilers for the 2nd arc (books 6-10). I wrote this before the end of the 3rd arc, and have therefore taken some artistic liberties.
I did not read any of the arc 3 books when I wrote this, I only gathered information from the WOF Wiki.

I do not claim ownership of the Wings of Fire book series by Tui T. Sutherland and Scholastic. This is a fan fiction series.

The twist is that the Skywing is James, or Phoenix in this story. Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. If you have a problem with this then either be nice about it or leave the book. Small heads up: This will contain spoilers for the first 5 Wings of Fire books from The Dragonet Prophecy to The Brightest Night. If you have not read those books yet I suggest you read them, but otherwise you are free to read this. Imagine reading your favorite book series when you're suddenly transported into it. That's what happend to Daniel Lorence when he is transported into the fictional world of Pyrrhia. With the knowledge of reading all fifteen books he knows everything about everyone, however when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel will have to go on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when somone starts to pull the strings on his mind as well as the minds of the dragons around him, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: This takes place in a timeline where a school year has already passed without the whole Darkstalker drama. Everything else happend including Carnelians death and the whole Icicle being dream visited by scarlet which means scarlet is dead. Also the JW don't know about moons powers. (Peril knows about Turtle being an animus) In other words it's close to Canon but not quite. When he looks back on his adventures with his friends from the Jade Winglet his mind always focuses on a certain NightWing... along with a rather annoying SandWing... he hopes to see Moon again but his new life in Sancuary might as well be putting him on the moons, far far away from his friends.... and the one dragon he loves. Mostly Qibli, Moon was expecting an egg, and it cracked when she died. but of course, Turtle had to come to the rescue. he enchanted an egg that would never hatch on its own to be Qibli and Winter's dragonet. he took them both to sanctuary and gave it to them. then he flew off faster then an eagle set on fire. How will they cope with a son of their own when they cant even handle seeing each others faces? THESE CARACTERS BELONG TO TUI T SUTHERLAND, AND THE BOOK SERIES WINGS OF FIRE.
