He laughed and looked at me with a smile, his eyes were twinkling.
"I'm here only because you need me, when everything goes well, I disappear again.." He said sitting on the grass with her staring at the cold lake in front of them. There was a deep silence between them but that was all they needed, silence and calm. "You don't have to leave.." She said few minutes later and looked at him.
"I would love to stay but-
Everything will disappear someday Believe me you won't even feel a change when I'm gone, you will start your life again without remembering me." He answered and gave a small smile that was playing on his lips. Before I could answer, it started to rain. The cold raindrops fell on my warm skin. The sound of the rain made me feel peaceful again, but it was getting colder, so I watched him get up from the wet grass. He reached his hand out to me and smiled again. His wet hair of rain fell on his face and it made me giggle a bit. "Come on let's go it's getting cold out here" He said and I nodded and took his hand and stood up with a smile playing on my lips.

"All's fair in love and war, or some shit, right?" He said, his smirk drawing to a slight sneer as he padded towards the open balcony. He rested his hands on the guardrail before letting out an exasperated sigh, thunder rolling behind it. The rain cascaded onto the tile in sheets, blowing the soft cream curtains back and forth. "Or some shit." I smiled, walking towards him. I could see the tension grow in his back and shoulders, his struggle evident. I placed my hand gently on his shoulder, trying my best to reassure him. I could feel his breathing hitch slightly at my touch; his response was all I needed to reassure me I was doing the right thing. My touch was welcomed. I leaned my head on his back, wrapping my hands around his waist. I longed to take away his pain; I hated seeing anyone this upset. She wasn't worth his time. Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate.
