"Never thought I'd see you again," the younger man says looking down at his fidgeting hands. It's like he's afraid to look into Louis' eyes. Louis says nothing. He just sees: tattoos. Harry got so many tattoos. The ones they said they'd get together. "I'm sorry," Harry says sadly. "I don't know what I did, but I'm so sorry, Lou." "It's okay." It's all the older man can say numbly. It's not his fault anyways. Louis was the one who went and fell in love with someone he couldn't have. -x- Louis used to be Harry's best friend in school, but the younger boy never knew he saw him as way more than that. Six years after leaving Harry behind, Louis, the CEO of Bright Future's huge investments company, travels back to Doncaster to meet with his old graduating class. He doesn't expect Harry, a worldwide known singer, will be there. Except he is and he's way more broken than Louis remembers. So is Louis.

Harry could tell he was upset. He denied it, but Harry knew, Harry always knew. He wanted to comfort him, but couldn't take the chance of someone seeing and it putting their relationship through even more. "What's wrong?" Harry whispered, hoping no one would notice. He worried more as he saw the tears well up in Louis' eyes. He could count on one hand the amount of times he's seen louis cry before now. He's always so strong. "Please," Louis whimpered as a tear escaped. Harry was about to ask what he meant, but stopped himself, he knew. "Louis. You know I want to, so much, but I can't. We can't. They'll kill us, we'll loose our jobs. You always say-" "Please," Louis cut him off, touching his arm slightly. The older boy knew exactly what he was doing and how this simple gesture would affect the younger lad. "Please just kiss me."
