In this place there is a caste system where there are three categories. Nobles which are placed on top of the caste.  Middle classes are those who have the luxury to even join politics and have businesses it also include the sub group which people who love to spend fortune for their own desire. The one who is placed the lowest are people who are treated as slave.  In that dark caste there is a dark secret hidden behind their power, those "Nobles" are not just kings, dukes, queens or any royalty officials. They are ancient vampires, and wolves which are pure breed. Other people classified them for their perfection and beauty. While the "nobles" are blessed with extravagant gifts.

 The slaves are no better than a dog or worst if possible only a livestock and a toy to be played. That is the dark caste system in the place where.Sebastien live. 

Since he was young, he grew up in slumps with his parents whom soon after suffering a debt, sold him in a brothel at his young age as a slave to be auctioned but soon after so many tragedies that happened to him that brothel was set on fire. And that fire changed his whole life.
