"Okay, so how are you feeling about this situation?" I asked.
"Well... You ever been in love?"
"Yes, I have."
"Aw, that's adorable. I love love. I do. Yeah."
"I have a soulmate too. Y'know, that love at first sight, wanna live forever, love is eternal kind of love?" He continues.
"Mhm." I shake my head up and down slightly closely listing to what he's saying, writing little notes down on my clipboard with a slip of paper on it having all of my questions and details on it.
"Alina. That's her name. See the problem is when I first met Alina, I was with another woman, so I kinda cheated on her. Which to be honest with you, it really wouldn't have been that big of a deal, except it turned out that the other woman ended up being a f*cking raging lunatic. so when she found out that I cheated on her, she freaked out and turned Alina to stone, like, literally, medusa style."
"Are you like, okay?" I asked.
"What do you mean? Do you think I'm crazy? Why do you think I'm crazy? All I've wanted for the last 3,000 years of my desperately miserable life is to be reunited with the love of my life. How's that crazy?"
