This modern adult fairy tale is not a novel. Well, yes ... It's a story to read but presented in the form of a scenario. I could say that I saw it more than I thought ... but in truth it was easier, simpler, more obvious for me to write it like this. A huge thank you to Richard for agreeing to proofread and above all correct my bad translation from French to English. Some extracts:
--------------------
Sitting across from each other, the two looks at each other kindly, without a word. They are two generations, two cultures almost as opposed as the places on the planet where they were born. They have no words to communicate, know nothing about each other's codes. Yet they are so close at this moment ...
-------------------
Sitting cross-legged in the snow within easy reach of each other, the two girls look at each other for a moment like faience dogs. Then Dounia struggles to her feet, and Na-ri jumps up to her. They still look at each other. Dounia's face expresses deep sadness, Na-ri's still fierce mistrust, but the radiance of her gaze has changed ...
Dounia cries silently as she looks her in the eye, then her hurt lips curl over her very first word since they met, barely audible:

DOUNIA: Mianhae. (Sorry.)

Heart ached, Na-ri watched the young stranger turn and walk away slowly, with a heavy step. Her unease and her guilt right now is unbearable.

NA-RI (almost shouting): 야! 떠나 지마! (Hey! Don't go!)
