Hanamaki has a crush on Nakamura Youko, but he does not know whether or not she likes him back. Knowing his crush on her, his friends tell him about the flower myth which Hanamaki just laughs at. Despite him disregarding the myth in front of his friends, he decided to give it a try, hoping it might actually work.
