Minoru has always been bullied, beaten to half to death his entire childhood

He never had good parents but he always had three amazing friends

When he started Chūgakkō (also known as middle school in Japan) his crush Khalan had asked him out

He of course said yes but his classmates didn't like how one of the "popular" kids was dating the quiet kid. So with that being said, they started to beat him up even more until both Minoru and Yuga started home school.

He thought when he went to U.A it would be different, everybody would be kind or at least not beat him up but it only became worse. One of his classmates from middle school went to U.A as well so she started a rumor about him being a pervert to all the females.

But one day in class 1A it was a family month whereas their family sit with them in class and train with their kids for an entire month. But instead of Yuga and Minoru parents coming, their fiancés came
