Slave of Nothing

Piero Viscocci, the thief of Venice, they call him, though he has many names. He has resorted to being married to the shadows in which he lives in, but deep down... He longs to love somebody. He wants to meet somebody, but that requires giving up being a thief, but can he let go? His brother was taken from him during a mission to steal a chest, without knowing what was to come, they opened the door blindly, costing Piero his brothers life. He has never forgiven himself for that day. Inside he burns with anguish, wishing to hunt down those who killed him. But in the depths of his anger he chooses to let go of being a thief in order to meet a girl, until the day he travels through the city of Venice to the thieves guild to turn his gear in, this is when he meets Victoria Gabanza, a ravishing young courtesan who seems to catch his eye. As a thief, Piero's filthy hands steal whatever catches his eye, even if that so happens to be this young ladies heart.
