The Chronicles of Little Run continues in the new utopian futuristic narrative, a speculative tale and direct sequel to my last work, Secret Places. The world of Hart remains a relatively perfect place, free of extreme poverty, disease, famine, or war. Yet still, the struggles of humanity remain, a lesson Max learned all too well when losing his close friend Thomas. Yet more questions remain on human mortality as the bitter taste still lingers in his mouth. What happens when we are confronted by the limits of technology in improving human existence, and the cost at which it comes? Then questions arise of what really matters in life when Max's friend Domingo experiences a loss of his own.
