The prince did not want to become king, but like his father had grown sick, so did his brother. He knew he would have to be the responsible one to take the thrown and he would. On the other hand he wanted to find that blonde haired, tan skin fairy he met a few times in his childhood. He wanted to have an actual conversation with her, to tell her that he meant no harm, maybe that'll have to wait for now.
