In the beginning, there was Nothing. Not even Darkness, just Emptiness. Then Life shone bright. Magic appeared and brought the universe with it. Creatures of Magic came to be. There was one creature that did not come from magic-the Human. As Humans evolved they discovered Magic. Humans who were able to use Magic became known as Magicians. The Humans would create objects that would collect Magic and become Artifacts. These artifacts have the power to wreak havoc on the entire universe if in the wrong hands. A group of Magicians banded together to collect these Artifacts and store them. Whenever the universe was in danger, a new team would form to become powerful Magicians and save the world. They are... The Guardians.

Long ago, before the Dragon Empire rose to power, the world was guided by the Azena - a lineage of guardians born with the ability to breathe the elements, read the stars, and restore balance to all things. But the Empire feared that power. They hunted the Azena for generations, wiping out their temples, their knowledge... and their people. The last known Azena - a boy - was said to have been killed years ago. Or so they believed. Until Kanna, a young girl, discovered him: Delaaran - the lost son of the Azena. Hidden, forgotten... but still alive. With the help of her brother Rylo and her friend Yuki, Kanna defied the Empire and helped Delaaran escape. Now, the three must journey across the fractured world, searching for allies, unlocking Delaaran's memories, and preparing him for the battle to come. Because the Dragon Empire has plunged the world into an endless war... and Delaaran may be the only one who can end it. But the question remains... Can he save everyone?
