"I am too scared to lose what we have, staying silent as the feelings of hope and love blossomed inside my chest, clawing to be let out. The seed long grown into a plant with it's branches wide, coiling around my heart, squeezing it every moment our eyes meet."

He gazed at the boy, longing for the warmth he felt as soft and warm touches lingered over his skin. It melted his heart, turning him into a mushy puddle of mess.
But both stayed silent.
Too afraid to ruin what they have in greed for what they could've.

Still thinking of possibilities of being together before backing away, overpowered by fears. Holding onto the thin thread of hope with all his might, clinging to even the slightest chance they could be more.

He knew it would hurt more if the thread broke.
But if it's love, he was ready.

He pushed the man weakly with whatever force was left, giving up soon enough.
It was pathetic how they were aware yet unaware of their feelings. He was tired of it at this point, his heart was a mess. He had reached his breaking point.

He just wanted to run, run far away until he was out of sight, never see those eyes that stared at him like he hung moon and stars. It would hurt more if it was just his assumptions.

"If they don't love you enough, leave. Save yourself before it's too late. Walk away and never look back. Love can never be forced, and neither can you wait forever. This is the difference between fiction and reality." She wiped her tears.
