"And who are you?" The Frost Giant King, Laufey asked. I cleared my throat and puffed my chest out. "I am (Y/N) Ísveig, future wife of Thor Odinson, and daughter of Sigrid the Beauty and Calder Nord. You captured my mother and cursed her. You said the next child she would conceive would be given horrible powers." "You believe we cursed you?" The king questioned, an amused smile playing on his lips. "No, it was your mother who cursed one of us, and lied to you about it. It seems all Asgardians do is lie." I felt all the air leave my body. How could that be? My mother lied? I wasn't cursed? Then how did I have the powers of a Frost Giant?
