Basically a re-imagining of the fight/breakup/ make-up scenes in Episodes 22/ 23. Angst, hugs and kisses, and someone's red hair-tie comes undone.
This is set during Sunshot Campaign, mostly based on The Untamed/ CQL version of events... Consider Lan WangJi explains to YanLi about the harm the new cultivation path could cause Wei Ying, who walks in thinking Lan Zhan tattled on him to his Shijie, Lan Zhan walks away and then they fight... Suppose the fight went differently and they did *not* end up on the rooftop to talk it out. Suppose LWJ walked away again, and we have the awful sect leader drama dinner which LWJ skips altogether to play the Guqin for his cryptic boyfriend who also walks out of dinner and lurks outside his room... Only, instead of walking away, Wei WuXian walks into his room, and they have a different kind of...conversation. Same end result as the rooftop scene.

Lan Wangji, the Chairman of ZBG, known to the world by his alias of Hanguangjun fell in love with Wei Wuxian in eighth grade. He was the quiet boy whom no one paid much heed to. Wei Wuxian didn't even know he existed. Lan Wangji on the other hand never could let go. He stalked him for over ten years and finally approached him the night Wei Wuxian was drunk and blacked out. He took his obsession to a hotel room to have him throw up all over his clothes and then slip and hurt his back. Needless to say he stayed the night to keep him safe. In the morning when a hilarious misunderstanding occurs he convinces his crush to compensate him by marrying him and to his utter disbelief Wei Wuxian agrees, provided that they keep their marriage secret. After receiving the certificate they go their different ways. When Lan Wangji finds out that the Jiangs have not only fired Wei Wuxian but also kicked him out of home, he uses his resources to track his husband and shows up at his door with a pack of beer even though he doesn't drink. What ensues is chaos.

Put simply, if you all remember the time Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning were on the way to Yanli and Zixuan's marriage, he was shot down by several Jin's, going against given orders. The remaining Wens were killed, except Wen Yuan - who'll come in later -, Wangji found a new lover, Jiang Cheng continued his Sect Leader duties. The only ones to remember are Jiang Yanli, Jin Zixuan, Wen Yuan, and surprisingly, Lan Xichen, who is rather disappointed in his younger brother, and Lan Qiren who, despite not having the greatest relationship with Wei Wuxian, had a small amount of appreciation for staying with his nephew and his expansive knowledge. He will not, however, admit to even slightly missing the boy when asked by the older nephew. During what seems like a relatively normal day, objects go flying around and cryptic messages appear in an unidentifiable crimson liquid, scrawled and messy. How will those who forgot react, let alone those who remember? ----- Most interactions will take place through Inquiry. Fluff? Very little. A somewhat fatherly/brotherly bond between Wei Ying with Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen. Angst? Most Definitely.
