Amber age 15: sent under ground in a cryogenic chamber when she was 6 years old. Over the past 2 years she has been trying to hack the elevator. But one day, she finally manages to get the chamber open. She packs all of her belongings and climbs into the pod. When she reaches the surface the world is in shambles. The atmosphere is polluted. She makes her way through the dystopian reality and meets a friend named Jason. He says this is no longer Earth. People have nicknamed the planet "Blackout" because the sun hasn't shined on the surface in the past 400 years.
But romance sparks between the couple. Amber realizes someone is purposely polluting the planet. She has to race time, love, and friendship.

The people of Saffire have been waiting to see The Coming fulfilled. Demalynn assembles a group of clackers to get her home, the most important of which is a fellow clacker: eighteen-year-old Aiden. It is not long before Jago, the ruler of Saffire, learns that a woman on Saffire is pregnant and he unleashes all his power to prevent the birth. Jago will not give up power.
