This is a little story taking place in between the dinner scene and the blackout of In The Heights. It is based on the musical, not the movie, although there is some references to it in the dialogue. This will be in Nina's, Usnavi's, and Benny's point of view. I may change that. We'll see. The story is going to be slightly different but more or less the same. Less focused on Usnavi and Vanessa (although there will be some) and more on Benny and Nina.
All characters belong to Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Allegria Hudes except for the ones I may or may not make up.
Enjoy!

Puzzle Pieces (Sonny/Graffiti Pete) In The Heights

16 parts Complete

As the community takes Pete and Sonny in and pushes them out, they find solid ground in together. Sonny and Pete hang out together, each missing and searching for pieces of themselves. Can they find them in each other? Some of the scenes come from the play, others are put in instead of scenes from the play, and some take place before or after a scene in the play. The story on a whole is taken from during and after In The Heights, all rights to Lin Manuel Miranda (the one god I believe in).
